Interactive stories?

I want to do an interactive story where at the end of the video, the viewer has the ability to choose what happens next (between two options) and it progresses into other videos and has a sort of butterfly effect. I have seen these videos done before and have always wanted to do one, but they are a lot of work. Do you guys think that it's worth it and do you think something like that would be interesting? I love interactive videos! They're really fun and you can tell a lot of work goes into them.
However I don't know if it's worth it, it really depends on the story and the audience you're targeting.

I just like to make videos with friends, and the interactive story theme has always been one of my favorite.

True, just takes a lot of work. But I suppose the end product will make it worth it!
