Increase Youtube views using Facebook Advertising

Yesterday I used Facebook targeted advertisements for a post on my page, which made me think, if its possible to increase your views on youtube by posting your video on your Facebook page & then advertising the post. The normal reach of Facebook ads is around 18,000 people for ~24$/day. This makes me think if you can get so many views in a day on your video, increasing its SEO? Has anyone ever tried this to see if it works?

I've never tried it on a post so would love to know how you get on. I've had ads for page likes in the past but they dont seem to translate into any more views or subs on YouTube. Good Luck with the ad!

Thanks! I don't feel like spending 24$ more for this, Really wish someone here tries this out first & then we see the result! ;p [To advertise a specific post on the page, and that post is a youtube video, it may reach to a lot of people, that will advertise the Facebook page & the youtube video together!]

I used paid ads to advertise my Teespring campaign... I ended up losing money on those campaigns because those shirts didn't reach the tipping point. My most successful shirt was done with free Facebook advertising, I had to do the footwork for that one though. In my Google analytics and FB analytics, it seems that even if you have thousands of people that have been reached, only a small percentage of people actually click the link.

I was doubtful about the same thing. Even if it shows 10,000 people reach, only a few hundred ever click the link. Well, then i guess its pretty much a waste of money. Not worth doing it unless your video is really appealing to a lot of people!

It's all about making a good thumbnail and title... I've bought a few shirts that popped up on my FB and one of them sold over 1250 shirts! I made pretty good money from just 112 shirts, so I can't imagine what 1250 made... plus, they charged $5 more per shirt than me!

As far as just getting views on videos, I don't think it would be worth it. The cost/benefit is just not high enough to justify it. FB advertising is more for products that single clicks can actually make decent money from in my opinion.

I tried FB adverts and I didn't get much more views.... it said that it reaches more people but I guess it's the conversion of people wanting to click on your links. I agree, it probably works better if you are looking to sell a product rather than to use it to get viewers.
