Incorrect Realtime Analytics

I've Got It
I found out the actual viewcount does not reflect the realtime analytics. The number is always higher than the actual viewcount. For example the video I uploaded today showed 6000 realtime views whilst the actual viewcount shows 4500. Is it because it hasn't updated yet or is this number just an estimate. My theory is that realtime analytics counts all the page loads/refreshes whilst actual views is calculated by some formula. What are your thoughts?

I noticed this too, it normally takes about a day for the views to show up on your total. Here's what one of mine looks like, it says I only have 114 views when I've had about almost 600 in the past 2 hours

The first 301 views are counted as pageviews as well before youtube checks if they are legit. This number always updates immediatly, so it is very strange that realtime says 410 views whilst the actual is just 114.

It takes a while to update the view count, it only seems to do so 1-2 times a day now when a video goes into bigger views.

Been taking around 3 days for me which is annoying because I knew I hit 1m views but couldn't brag about it yet :D as the channel showed much less
