In video Annotations?

So here is a question I have for Everyone. I've been talking to some fellow youtubers from the area I am in, and some others on this forum, and After getting there opinion on the Importance of In video annotations on YouTube I feel like I need to be a voice toward any serious YouTuber, and say do not take this gift for granted. In Video Annotations even when you are smaller are super important! If your content is truly appealing to someone they are hopefully ready to watch more of your content and the easiest way for them to get to the next video, part of the series, or even to get them to check out other channel you want to spotlight is to put it right in front of their faces. This is my personal belief. But I said I have a question Do you use Annotation's and If so why and if not why not?
 
So you're advertising your annotation network then asking if we like using annotations.

Okay!

Annotations suck. Period.

I use annotations because if the person like that video and theres no annotations then they watch it and they are done. But im they liked the video and there is annotations they will click them and watch more!

Yeah I like them beginning and end! I also find creative ways to put them in certain areas of my video, when a certain topic comes up! so If they are interested in that topic that can go to a video centered around that topic.[DOUBLEPOST=1370128927][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yep this is the reason I like them! It doesn't have to end with that video! It prolongs the experience for people that would have been done after one video! the hope is instead of watching one they watch liked five because you made it easier for them!
 
There are times when I ask my viewers to subscribe to someone (or me) and put a button on the screen. I also use them in my outro.
 
Yeah, some people take annotations for granted. I usually only use them when I make mistakes in videos
 
Yes, I use annotations to direct viewers to other videos or playlists. Only a small percentage of viewers use them but every little bit adds up. If you have a video series, it makes it easier for viewers to go to the next chapter.

To be honest, with the increasing use of mobile devises, the annotations don't work. I put the same links in the description for those viewers.
