In-Game music "matched third party content"

Well was uploading 3 parts to a series i recorded a day ago, however after uploading i see a prompt saying that it matches third party content. I clicked it and its the in-game music. What do i do ? i set the videos to private until this is all sorted out. I was under the impression that if its in the game itself it wouldn't be flagged I'm new and confused. Would love some insight on this

It happened before with GTA and other games. It's best to turn the in-game music off when recording and replace it with a copyright-free music.

I thought you could just contest it because its being used under fair use :-/

The gameplay and standard ingame music might be, but for games like GTA, Saints Row and others that use licensed music, you're just askin for a paddlin if you try the fair use defense.

See if YouTube gives you an option to "fix it". They have a tool that tries to remove the matched audio. It has worked for me in the past.

I claimed for fair use and it went through so its no longered marked for third party content. If it didnt allow me to keep the music i was going to remove them because the music really gives the mood for the game that i was playing. However its all good now and i appreciate everyones help ! Take care guys
