Important to remember YT is a slow burner...

I would think that timing is the key for a lot of this stuff when it comes to views. Football game/ Superbowl on, you gonna get a lot of people looking for football related things. Same with holidays eg Christmas, Halloween, Fourth of July. I would think that having themes related to upcoming popular events would probably get a lot more views than normal. I love Halloween, so when I see that my fav gaming channel is doing a lot of scary themed games, that makes me happy as a subber and makes me want to watch all those vids.[DOUBLEPOST=1453095227,1453095089][/DOUBLEPOST]Another example could be with a new game release or dlc being added soon. People want to view stuff related to that game like previous games in that series. As soon as a new game comes out, you better believe that there will be troves of tubers trying to get footage and upload as fast as possible in order to get those all important views~
 
It is funny to see a video get more views than usual. I have old videos trending like that I think they make most of my views actually :happy:
 
COMPLETELY AGREED. I know views come slowly but eventually our channel grows, so we should not give up on our dreams. Good luck to me and everyone :)
