iMovie or Sony vegas ?

I would choose vegas over iMovie any day

I prefer editing on the MAC platform. I started with iMovie, which I think is create software thats very simple to use. Depending on the type of content you create, it could do the job just fine - vloggers for example, probably dont need anything more then iMovie.
I then progressed on to FCPX and love it. Its my program of choice now.

I use iMovie because it came with my Mac, however I do wish sometimes it had some more advanced features.

I prefer iMovie as I been with apple all my life, but I say sony vegas as it has much more use ability than IMovie

Definitely Sony Vegas over imovie anyday, not that imovie is a bad editor, it just isn't as powerful.

I prefer Vegas, but that it because it's what I know. It's what I started using, and I've only learned how to do more and more with it.

Look at the features each has, and think about what you're trying to get out of the program. You yourself said that you find iMovie to be a little simpler to use and understand. I believe you may have just answered your question!

What do you guys think wich is better editing software?
Me personally i have both windows and mac but i prefer the iMovie cause for me its more simplistic to use. But tell me your opinions which you think is better software ?
