Imagine Youtube without School/work

Hazzador

I Love YTtalk
I was thinking about this the other day, how would your channels be if we could work on them all day? Most of us spend 8+ hours at work or school which for me limits the amount of videos I can make. I think we could all have much more success without this hurdle in the way. Time to all quit our jobs and get on the youtube grind I guess lol

Let's do it! I also think that with all the stress from work and school you are pretty much limiting yourself in your creativity. I mean, that's how it works for me and I really hate it when I've got so much going on that I can't come up with anything fun

Employers and teachers will just find themselves with empty classrooms/workplaces tomorrow haha. Same here, after a long day of work or school I just want to sit down or sleep

I mean... at the same time most youtubers below the range of 100,000 subscribers don't make as much as others who do a decent amount of work so you'd probably would become homeless. If you're lucky, you could get 300,000 and make around 50k-100k a year. It's not based on subscribers, yes. But it would really help. On the other hand, it would be pretty fun yeah.

50k a year is a very good wage indeed, half of that would be nice! I don't think earning minimum wage would be as difficult as people think if we all spent 8+ hours a day improving our content. It may take a few years but once you get the ball rolling there is no stopping it.

Yeah I can see what you mean by that. It would just involve a lot of grinding I suppose so.

I completely agree with this. 50k a year is in my country a pretty good salary, a college graduate would be really lucky if he even got half of that. And if we can all do what we love, wouldn't that make the world a better place? Dang... I went deep. It's getting quite late and I'm tired haha

So here are some experiences from people who left their jobs or finished school just to do YouTube as full time job (and mine experience with it because it is mine part time job but some days looks like full time job)

1) left company after about 200k subs, get good money from YouTube (AdSense or MCN), wage is just fine but still need sponsors and donations and can survive a year
2) same as first part but they mostly got money from donations and sponsorship deals, but still have to do something in part time to get enough wage to survive a year
3) left company, Youtube isn't going well, wage is super low and they need to get on old job or search for new one
4) and finally mine experience with full time @ YouTube - it is possible but, I still have part time jobs, students jobs & college so most of the time YouTube is mine part time job #reality

Go to sleep and stop dreaming, dream when you are asleep now awake ;D

Hazzy hey dude!

I can't imagine the possibilities of what could happen if I was doing YouTube full time. A job I would actually love to have, spending time doing what I want to be doing all day everyday.

Trying my utmost to make it a reality at the moment!
