I'm too late for youtube :(

Yeah I made my account in 2008. Although I had a couple before that do quite successful. Still it really depends. Sure a lot of people from that time period have a little more popularity, but thats because it was all still fairly new.

My channel was made in 2008, didnt take off till I actually started using it...Age has nothing to do with it, its your content and advertising and your loyal subs that make your grow... mew mew -.-

I remember my first channel in 2007 my first video got 7,000 views it was a colab of ufo pictures made with movie maker. Remember the WMM days?

I know what you mean but it doesn't work like that new guys are getting big like minnesotaburns or mrtechnical difficult, sure it was easier to gain an audience back then, but youtubers are big now because their videos were good enough to keep their audience

My channel got big 3 months ago, basically I had 0 active subs untill back then. Just look at my socialblade if you don't believe me.

Sure you might not be able to get 7 million subscribers now, since people who have that have been rolling the snowball.
But if you have succesfull widely appealing videos known as "gateway videos" and you know how to grow a big channel, you're not too late in any way.

I know what you mean, those who got into Youtube those few years ago are now big because they started when fewer people took uploading videos seriously. Now there are maybe millions of channels and more being made everyday :crying:

Yes it is harder to have a more successful channel now, If I would have been a year earlier to YouTube then I would have been one of the "big youtubers" now because I knew how to produce content and that's all it took back then. Now in order to be successful you have to take your talents and go further with them. Do something bigger than the rest and do something that stands out. If you are good at what you do people will find you. I've seen a couple people come up from nothing to a million subscribers in the past year. So it is still possible. You just need networking and have something that others aren't offering on YouTube.[DOUBLEPOST=1369089490,1369089412][/DOUBLEPOST]
