I'm testing Adwords Video campaign.

Ok everyone Im testing out a "Promote" video campaign. I have it set up for $20 USD to run for 7 days. It is set for $2.85 per day . The video will be promoted in US, Canada, UK, and Australia. Under Autos and vehicles. The video is about 3 min long.
The video will be set as an:
Instream ad ... people can close after 5 sec.
In-Display ad ... off to the side of the video player and the little pop up at the botom of a video.

I'll keep you all up to date how this goes.
This sounds interesting, I'm looking forward to hearing how it went for you. :)

ok, I just checked and it says that the " In-display " add is eligible but the " In-stream" is still under review.
Dont know whats going on.
You're not doing anything wrong. It take s a very long time for Adwords to review your campaign. It's taken about 48 hours on average for me when I've done it in the past. Good luck with the campaign. Looking forward to hearing the results!

I have done this before on a few of my videos and i did it for about 3 days and paid $2 each day for the videos I did it on and I got a handful of subscribers and about 600 video views from it per video. I plan on creating an add soon to get people to my channel. :)

I've actually tried this and did pretty good! I put $20 worth and did the campaign on my chubby bunny video and got a total of 38,000 views from it in just a few days. You have to use good tags and make sure the video(s) you are promoting have a catchy beginning because after the first 5 secs, if you didn't catch the viewers attention they won't click on the video.

Going to put at least $20 every week or two.

ok Guys , the campaign is over. I used a video that has a 46.1% Audience Retention ... pritty high for most of my videos.
for some reason my " In-stream " ads never started. The " In-display " ads did after a few days but that took the whole $20.
