It grew on me as well. The notifications are extremely helpful...I hate how comments have depleted. Not as many feel like they have to comment anymore.

I know... sometimes after google beats me down it offers me an ice pack.. I know deep down google cares about me and my channel and only wants the best for me. I deserve to be forced into subjugation and to use it's services.
 
Google+ is fine, it's just that they shoehorned the implementation of it. Making sudden, huge changes are basically completely against human nature. If they'd slowly eased the changed the changes in piece by piece, it would've been a lot better and most people would've been fine by it.

Nothing against it but I didn't like the way they held us to ransom to either sign up to it or no longer be able to comment / reply to comments on YouTube.

I still don't think it'll ever be a "thing" though. Are people really going to their G+ pages and "doing stuff" like they do on facebook?
