I'm losing subs.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way but losing 2 subs isn't really "losing subs" (present tense). If you had a few hundred and all of a sudden your normal rate of acquiring subs changed, then you might be able to determine what the cause is, because obviously they all had a common reason. With only 49 subs, the sample is just too small. There was probably no cause at all for them to unsubscribe, so don't think too much into it.
