Im looking for a good screen capturing software

Well for mac I would recommend iShowU and camtasia they both have excellent quality they aren't free but you can get a 30 day trial hope this helps and good luck with your channel
 
I've never tried it, but I've heard great things about Screenflow for Mac, and for the PC I use Camtasia Recorder :)
 
When I do screen capturing on my Mac, I start quicktime, and just use the record option to record what's going on on-screen. It's free!
 
I use fraps. It's simple, and it's easy. It's worked splendidly for anything I've ever tried to record with gaming.

I don't have examples on my personal channel, but I can link you to a gaming channel I've recorded material for if you'd like.
