Last week I made a thread about what you regretted doing as a Youtuber. Let's flip that and talk about what you are glad you did as a Youtuber!

I'm glad I started making youtube videos because I enjoy making them so much. I'm not sure where I would be without my youtube videos.

I'm also glad I decided to make weekly videos. It's forced me to make more videos, and I have grown so much because of that.

What are you glad you did?

I'm glad that I actually started and not to be hold back by others opinions, youtube made me become my own person who stands behind her beliefs.

I'm glad I became a YouTuber because since I started editing my video's, it opened my eye's to appreciate other people's video's and hard work more. The edits, the fx, audio fixes, camera angles, lighting, props and location choices.
Now when I watch a video or even advertisment on the Tv I notice every little detail and note out aloud how they did this, did that, the work that's been put into this, It's really made me appreciate everything in this entertainment industry.
Plus a big bonus is that I'm also starting to make new friends from here and through other YouTube video's of similar interests I've found.

The appreciation you get for other peoples' work after trying it yourself is definitely one of the biggest benefits. This is why I believe that everybody should work at a hotel, a restaurant, a retail store, and a bar at some point in their lives - we'd be so much nicer to service workers.
