I'm Annoyed with Youtube

YouTube's detection algorithm for user unfriendly and copyrighted content leaves a lot to be desired. Same goes for the appeals process, probably a good idea to join a YouTube partner instead.

Good idea but i only have 52 subs, 675 views and over 800 channel views.
My channel isn't big enough to make that step yet and i think youtube still
checks to see if your video is suitable for monetisation.

Try CreatorX or RPM who have low eligibility criteria.
CreatorX is based on the Fullscreen platform. I'm with Fullscreen and they are pretty slick. All the best. :-) You'll be fine.

yeah I'm getting p****d off too.

they have disabled monetization on 4 of my videos, in which all of it is my own original content.
and for some videos, despite providing licenses for my background music and providing proof of public domain, they still rejected them.

I tried RPM but no use and on vidstats it gives you a referal to join creatorx when you reach their criteria.
As for social blade you need 2000ish views a month so i'm guessing its about the same with rpm and creatorx?

Unfortunately there are so many horror stories about wrongly disabled video monetisation, I'm no exception and it was my big reason to join a YouTube partner. I remember coming across a user who had uploaded 2 exact same videos to test how random the YouTube's algorithm was and it was no surprise that both videos had different monetisation outcomes.

It's always a big mystery with YouTube and not unlike a dice roll when waiting to see the result of an newly uploaded video if its been disabled for monetisation.

There is a process to challenge the Content ID - Contact youtube and let them know.
I did! :] got an automated response still disabling monetization.

although now, it seems that I can monetize them. I just checked a few mins ago o_O what the?
