I'll be graphite for awhile :)

Better get myself comfortable here in Opal. Hey, it's not the worst thing in the world.

Didn't things like the creative academy, creative studio, YouTube Spaces, and play buttons already existed? It just seems like they're putting a label on things. Only things I found interesting is the NextUp contest and direct support (which they have, but seems like they'll be rolling out to more people now).

I don't know if this is new, but it seems that every level has access to email support now. I thought that that originally only applied when you had 15k hours or something like that.

So that's what big YouTubers mean when they talk about their manager and attend lots of meetings all the time. I was confused about where YouTubers were finding all of these managers -- I guess YouTube helps with that. o.0 I feel like a lot of these benefits already existed, but it's nice to see them ordered in a video. ^^ I wonder if YouTube will always use subscriber numbers to determine these levels, or if it will eventually switch over to Watch Time statistics instead?

Yeah, after 100k subs (or sometimes before), you get allocated a YouTube partner manager with personal telephone and email support / consultations etc.

Do you know if they are over-allocated, or if they actually have a decent amount of time to individually focus on and help channels? :o Do they tell you helpful YouTube optimization and marketing/brand ideas? o.0 I still can't imagine meetings that last an entire day that are only about YouTube, but I guess if people have hundreds of thousands (or millions) of followers, things are different...

lol it's like there is this elite YouTube party that most of us aren't invited to (which is for a good reason..but makes us even more curious)... xD

They analyze your channel in advance and then you have a 1-1 telephone consultation with them and they give advice specific to your channel, sort out any problems and answer any questions etc. After that you can contact them directly via email and if necessary have further consultations with them. It's not just generic advice. My guy works in the London office and was able to get me quickly approved for non-skippable ads (something that I had been trying to get for several weeks previously), as well as give me advice based on what he knows works in my niche.

Honestly, the biggest benefit is having a dedicated personal human contact at YouTube, rather than just an anonymous support hotline kind of thing. :)

Dang -- that sounds great! It sounds better than what I was imagining. I was picturing a call center of folks who were reading off scripts and sending cookie-cutter emails, but it sounds like it is better than that (at least for the current times). ^^ It makes me wonder why networks are even a thing?? o.0 I was starting to notice that some channels seemed to "hit the ground running" once they reached a certain point. I guess there's a lot more to all of this, and I should pay more attention to the changes that happen when a channel starts taking off because now it sounds like it isn't just algorithms. xD I know I'm skipping things I should be doing because I have no clue what the heck I'm doing lol -- I can see how having a YT contact would be helpful. ^^
