Ignore This Rant

Thanks guys! I guess Click Bait is just a dirty little product of being a YouTuber. I don't feel so bad about doing it now since EVERYONE is doing it to.

Off to change "York Beach" video into "Buried My 3 Year Old Alive!" video.
Bwahahahaha!

My main way to get subscribers was to not be shy in telling people to GO SUBSCRIBE. Seriously. I made a Facebook post comically telling people if they didn't subscribe we weren't friends anymore. Made another telling them subscribing would be like giving me 10 dollars and then one day they could be like "Hey John remember that time I gave you 10 dollars?" and I'd be like, "nah". And they'd be like "Well I subscribed to your channel" and I'd be like "oh yeah".

Anyway, what I'm saying is I found it helpful to let friends and family know I'm taking this seriously and that the number one way to support me was to subscribe! Keep it lighthearted of course. We were able to get to over 100 subscribers in our first month and I think that was a big reason why.

Thumbnails are fantastic. Title, description and tags are in bad shape. What is it that you are doing with corn salad? You can't just title a video corn salad. I won't say the videos are a bit boring. Entertainment is subjective, but I don't think a bit more energy would hurt you. I'm not an expert here by any means. Just my observations.

LOL I really like that![DOUBLEPOST=1469838824,1469838499][/DOUBLEPOST]

The corn salad was a collab where everyone made ether a soup or a salad. I should put collaboration in the tittle.

I was thinking that I should add some more energy but I didn't want to come off as fake. It couldn't hurt to up it a little bit. If you only watched the corn salad video it isn't like my other ones. Try the "York Zoo" one.

Thanks for saying my thumbnails are good :)

I just went of newest video. So I will admit I don't know much of what is going on. Of course I wouldn't suggest you be fake either. Everyone will notice that. I do sports games and I am a bit more laid back than most of that crowd. Do your own thing. Certainly don't fake your way through it.

No offence but I think that is a terrible way to get people subscribing to your channel and watch your videos because mainly especially if you say things like "If you don't subscribe to me then we won't be friends anymore" stuff like that so they most probably subscribed to you only for to keep remaining friends with you and are not actually interested in watching your videos which it is very bad and it is exactly like sub4sub to be honest.

But if the views(and get more likes/dislikes and genuine comments) on your videos have improved after doing that post on Facebook then well done and good on you haha!! :) :)

LoL I get what you're saying but it's clearly lighthearted and comical. They know our friendship isn't literally on the line. It's just a funny way to remind them they can support me by subscribing.

I've had quite a few family and friends create accounts just to subscribe to me. They were already watching my stuff but aren't normally Yotubers so if I didn't ask them to sub they likely never would even though they watch all my vids. Get what I mean?

Like I said above, ignore this rant.

I am just one of hundreds of YouTubers who are feeling frustrated. I have great thumbnails, I'm posting 2 to 3 videos every week. I have an intro that shows all members of our family. I've given my subscribers a name to make them feel included in a club/special. I'm commenting on other videos with out spamming. I take advantage of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Vine. I'm told that my content is good.

With all of this going on, I'm not getting the subscribers I feel the work deserves. Is it because I don't put on makeup or do my hair? Is it because I don't post false click bait? Am I not being patient enough? What does a girl have to do to see some real growth?

Anyway, feel free to ignore this post, I just had to rant a little. I feel better already!
Maybe you could promote your content on social media ? Like Facebook, Twitter,...

All I am seeing here is another frustrated YouTuber that thinks it is easy to captivate and grow an audience. Ignore a rant? Really? No... I would ignore it if it wasn't out there, but since you did allow me to get on with my own, one I am sick of typing down because of you guys.

You don't grow big overnight. Actually you do now that I think of it... But before that happens you need to work hard and strike the right cords. You're trying to play without stings on your guitar with posts like the one you just made. String up that guitar, start giving 0 about the numbers and focus on your content. I do assume you like creating content. That is all that matters. If you don't like it find something else to do with your time instead of wasting it on something that brings negativity in your life. Like creating content and you are a winner no matter what the numbers do. I have been winning since day one. Sure, sometimes you look at another guy that does better and think "why him / her" that's natural. It's up to you to let it bother you to the point you aren't having fun or just shrug your shoulders, accept the fact you are not it and YouTube on.
