If You Were A Top Youtuber

If you were one of the top youtubers (Smosh, Pewdiepie, JennaMarbles, RWJ, etc etc etc) What would you change about your content, the way you ran things, channel designs, or interactions etc?
 
I'd probably keep my design the same as for content I'd probably try to improve it more and more at a faster rate then now. And I'd wear and make my own T-shirts (still want to anyway even if to just buy em for myself )
 
I'd definitely hang out around the comments section an hour after my video was uploaded and respond to some of the comments. I'd have a higher budget for videos, so I'd be able to hire actors, better equipment, etc. I would make videos on a consistent basis.

Basic stuff.
 
Increased connectivity with fanbase, Charity events, discussion boards, idea boards(ideas for new videos), just everything with fans, but the main purpose of the channel should not change. If I'm doing gaming, it shouldn't change to something else... Promote friends and fanbase youtubers, etc. If I was a top youtuber, I'd be as generous as I can be with the community... sadly I don't see much of it... I would make some videos from scratch with original footage and sounds for maximum monetization or even create multiple channels. My gameplay videos really all belong to the game makers, so if a channel is big enough, i think I can increase my income by making videologs or short skits apart from my usual gaming. If you get big by having your own skits and stuff like smosh, then thats great! The things that you can change about your channel might depend on whoever is sponsoring you if you do pick up a big partnership...

Discussion boards...that's an interesting idea! Yeah, I often wonder if they're even allowed to comment on their own videos haha, without going through their network first :p
