If you had the resources, what practical changes would you make to your channel?

I would buy sony vegas firstly. Right now I'm kinda getting by with movie maker for the simple things but i dream for so much more.
Secondly, i would invest in a better mic and webcam. My mic is ok but not the best and my webcam only records in 720p.
Lastly, i think i would just work on more scripted videos. This appeals to more of the time aspect of things. It's so much less time consuming to sit down, record a video, and make a funny moments thing than it is to actually script a video that you think is funny. I wish that i could do it so much more.
 
Film my sketches at real places so I don't have to recreate everything in my mother's house :D

Hire people to help me with things I'm not good at (sound design) or, ahem, stuff I hate to do (setting up the equipment).

A consultant would be wonderful along with an artist. Most of the time I have no idea what I'm doing since none of the people I hang out with IRL do much tubing. Heck I've been doing this stuff for just over two weeks now, and the difference in quality has changed drastically. I cringe at how bad some of the audio for my first couple of vids were.:banghead2:
 
Right now, I'm out in the a**e end of nowhere, which has terrible broadband speeds.

If I had a decent connection, I would deliver videos at a regular time, not just "Friday", etc, and gather footage from the friends that have the capacity to record.

One thing I am aiming for in my channel once I've moved again is the Rooster Teeth Let's Play-style cuts between perspectives, which I have done a couple of videos with - but want to become a staple, especially for my DayZ/GTA Online Group content. More production value! Longer edits, too, but a much better product in the end!
 
Well i would be glad to use them if i had any.Right now i started normally and it is going idk sometimes good sometimes not actually i started a few days ago.

If i had resources i would use them to improve my pc for recording and editing videos smoothly.I would buy the most common things that are needed for a gaming channel and i would be proud :)
 
I would probably get a better microphone and upgrade my pc so I can play more games and my fan doesn't sound like it's dying when I render a video out
 
Interesting! Hummmm... Probably get a nvidia graphics card... Shadowplay is usable unlike gameDVR (endless bugs and problems)... Apart from that, probably boring stuff like a mic stand etc...
 
Hire an artist for channel art. Hire some kind of marketing consultant or take Tim Schmoyer's class that costs $1,000. Take a class and get the equipment to adequately record audio, film in poor conditions and film in slow motion. I would also like to learn more about the best way to tell a story on film.
