If you could do 1 thing different when you started, what would it be?

As the title says really. I can't remember if this has been done before (it probably has), because I am rather drunk, but what would you have done differently to grow quicker or garner a more loyal audience?
 
I have a cooking channel so my biggest change would have been to focus on more exciting meals. We recently decided to focus on just fun stuff instead of the standard boring meals.
 
I would have started earlier and not bothered to "save up for better equipment." If I had done that, I could have learned how to use the equipment as I produced more and more videos rather than plopping down to a steep learning curve and struggling for the first few months lol.
