All right, you're up next. I just started looking at your channel, and I try to take my time and really look through everything while I gather notes, so it may be a few hours. I hope to have a review posted late tonight.[DOUBLEPOST=1428051073,1428028996][/DOUBLEPOST]

Hello!

Thanks for giving me the chance to offer some thoughts on what you have going on your channel. Anytime anyone asks you for an opinion that's a gesture of trust (even on the Internet :)), and I hope to do my best to honor that by giving you honesty and kindness in my review. Here are my thoughts.

- You're obviously a person who cares a great deal about others and it comes through both in your easy-going mannerisms and in the subject matter you choose to talk about. It's endearing, and wherever you go with your channel in the future, I hope those features will continue to be hallmarks of what you do.

- You present yourself well on camera. Your camera position makes sense, your eye-line is good, and you say what you mean to say effectively.

- You generally come off as confident and just plain fun. There were moments here and there where you seemed a bit more self-effacing than is fair or necessary.

- Your graciousness is a strength. You shine when you are expressing care for people who are having a tough time, and when you speak with basic human respect even about those with whom you disagree.

- On the production side, almost all the channels I visit on YouTube could use better and more consistent lighting. There are plenty of very very cheap solutions to that problem and you can check out some of my other reviews to see my suggestions. Additionally, a better microphone will make you seem more credible. Echoey rooms communicate a sense of cheapness that can subtly undermine your content. I'm still working on getting this right as well. You don't need to spend much to make huge strides in production value.

- I love your watermark. You picked a great image and you're using it the right way.

- Your channel art and thumbs are effective for what you're trying to accomplish with your channel.

In summary, you come off as a genuinely kind person with lots of helpful ideas ranging from simple practical stuff to profound emotional stuff. At rare occasions I think you come off a bit more harshly than you probably mean to when talking about people and ideas that you don't resonate with, but those moments don't dominate your channel at all. You're very much at your best when you're building people up, and struggle the most when critiquing and when being apologetic for yourself. I offer that last remark gently though, because in general I think your channel is overwhelming made up of the prior tone and not the latter. You come off as strong, composed, and highly, highly likable the vast majority of the time. I like your approach and I'd be willing to wager that more than a few of your viewers have been helped by what you posted and are grateful for your channel in a meaningful and very personal way.

Thanks for letting me chime in,
Matt

I'd request a review too please,go on!
We have joined very recently and we are aware that we have not that much fancy amount of videos but we're working hard everyday.
The main thought behind our channel is just to provide music to all and eventually use it in their videos,we have to do it,we won't give up ever,we want to build a strong ,active and interactive fanbase,we're still far from that but we believe that we will do that someday.

Last night I finished the first page of review requests and now I'm on to your channel. I'm going to spend some time on your channel today and tonight, and try to get a detailed review written before tomorrow is over.
Thanks!

Hi Viraaj,
I spent a good amount of time perusing your channel and listening to your music all with your remarks in mind regarding your goals. I should start by disclosing my biases: I've loved electronic music and followed that scene since I was a kid in the early 90s, so when Hopping Fire started playing when I loaded the page, I was very excited to be reviewing a channel filled with music I knew I'd like. That said, my review won't focus on your music very much other than to say that you're talented and I really like what you've got going in the genre. I think you're off to a great start in that respect - I found the originals and the covers to be highly listenable and left them running as I worked for the better part of a morning. Nice work. But on to the channel review itself.
- My first thoughts upon visiting your front page were, 1) I like the song, 2) The thumbnail art is interesting, 3) I recognized some of the music so I figured out you did some covers/remixes, 4) You've got a good initial following, 5) The channel lacks a clear theme and description of what you're going for.
- Since the inherent compliments in the first four observations are obvious, I'll skip right on to the critique that is number 5. Like just about every smaller, newer music channel I've seen on YouTube, you lack a clear brand. To a degree, that's understandable because you're probably still figuring that out and growing into it, but I think the lack of a personal presence and/or some value-communicating branding is hurting you. Here are some suggestions
* Let visitors see you. Make an intro video that gives us a look at the people who are making this stuff.
* Further, let us get a glimpse of who you are and what drives your art. Music is great and all, but it's almost always made more powerful when listeners have a sense of the people and the story that the music grew out of.
* You banner art is fine, but there's nothing about it that really says who you are or what sets your electronic music apart from all the other electronic music. I'd think through an answer to that question and then try to find a way to communicate it visually throughout your channel.
* Flesh out that "About" section. Let us know who you are, where you're from, a little about your story, and what you're going for with your music.
Your stuff sounds great and it's obvious there's a lot of work and talent behind it. Like most smaller music channels, I think you'll struggle to build a following without the benefit of putting a personality behind it, but you certainly have the ability and sense of how to layer beats and craft a hook that are needed to get people's attention.
Best of luck moving forward,
Matt[DOUBLEPOST=1428191934,1428169562][/DOUBLEPOST]

I would like some feedback please. I do gaming videos where I clip and add silly things into them later. I didn't start posting regularly until a couple weeks ago so I want to know if my current content is good enough.

*Edited by staff* t please leave some feed back on what i should do to improve thanks for your support

Hi Josefine,

Thanks for inviting me to review your channel. I’ve poked around and I have a few thoughts. I apologize in advance for the brevity of my review.

- In your review request you mentioned that English isn’t your first language, and I sensed that you might be self-conscious about that, but I thought you did wonderfully. Your English is clear and confident and your accent just makes listening to you more fun. Your communication is solid.

- I like the games you’ve selected to review. They aren’t the usual stuff and it’s refreshing to see someone interacting with some original stuff.

- I think it might set your channel apart to either engage in more critical interaction with the games you’re playing or to engage in more comedic interaction instead. You come off well, but bringing more of your personality to bear on your subject matter will strengthen your videos.

- As is so often the case with newer channels, I feel like you undersell yourself as the star of the channel. The main character of a successful gaming channel isn’t the games it’s the host. It’s hard to feel that connection when the host doesn’t appear in any videos. I’d encourage you to consider an intro video and to consider making yourself more visible in the rest of your videos as well.

I think you’ve got some good stuff going, but you’ll need to make some moves to differentiate yourself from the zillions of other gaming channels out there. Your voice (figuratively and literally) and your personality are your best bets.

Thanks for considering my thoughts, and I wish you the best!

Take care,

Matt
