I am a Traveler, A Wanderer, A Thinker
If this topic has already been made you could close it.
But I did see a livestream from one guy that I was subscribed to, and the whole livestream was about a guy who adds peoples videos to a playlist, so people could watch the videos, add comments and support each other.
I thought that it´s a huge support4support thing, and people still do it because of the new rules.

I once had a video in a playlist of this kind. It was all entries from a short contest.
Ranked 700 something I got bored to search and check my own video... :) :p hehehe!

I think that if one is searching for something specific will use the search function or filtered search function.

I cannot understand this "let's grow all together" as we are all different and in different niches or stages of growth.
You make travel videos, take scenes, go places, search right angles whatever,
you consume time and effort right?
I record e.g. a sitting cat for stock footage. How can we both go under "creative" label?
:)

I think it's interesting, how much we expect our audiences to be made up of other creators, instead of people who like to watch content. I'm not sure it's the best way of going about achieving growth on YouTube or any other platform, for that matter.

I think on paper, it seems like a good idea. Let's create a community where the main focus is helping each other out. No one's getting paid, there's no obligation to sub back or watch a video back.. Just putting a video in a playlist and having people leave comments. But obviously, this isn't a perfect world. Most people using it are naturally going to be very desperate, and it'll mostly be a lot of people watching 1 second of the video and leaving a self-promotion comment. Which does more harm than good in the long-run.

I am considering adding that to my own channel, I'll probably post something later based on my results.

It’s nice seeing other creators support each other, but as far as becoming a long subscriber/ viewer it’s most likely not going to happen unless they really like your videos and not because they want to gain anything from it. Usually when others content creates make something like this it’s for personal gain and they don’t usually watch other small creators, just like sub for sub nothing good comes out of it and they sub because they want you to sub to their channel and they usually don’t sub back or they unsubscribe right away.

I didn't take a look at this yet and the idea behind this may be good, but I suppose it's just for self-promotion and not really helping each other out. But it's of course a better idea than the whole sub for sub thing.

I have actually used this to find other people in the same niche as me, and it has helped me to gain a lot of helpful friends to learn and grow from.

It is not really that much different--

No wait, no, it is not at all any different from a Facebook YouTube group. It's just on YouTube. Of course there are people with ill intent, but the way it affects you is dependent on how you choose to use the group.
