I will give YTtalk cash for a shoutout

what are you on about? Just because they've been told about this person doesn't mean they HAVE to go their and subscribe.. they might like the sound of the channel and go their to check it out.. if they like what they see they may subscribe or they may just watch a few videos, shoutouts are always a good thing.

I'm currently on a break from YouTube as my college year is coming to the end and I've got a LOT of work to do, I will try and remember to give you a shoutout in my coming back video :) PM me or something so I remember, or send me a message on youtube.. the message on youtube would probs be best :)

Not saying that there terrible but you have to look at how activity the person channel that is shouting you out. If they have dead subs your going to get inactive people most likely. I have a video that I think you should watch very informative on this.

Find people that enjoy your content have them share it twitter, facebook where ever. Use more forums and skype. Build a fan base not just subscribers. Also do collabs with other youtubers and talk to people on a regular besides just trying to gain on a channel
what can i do in a collab as a blogger though? I want to but cant think of any ideas?

I think you need be friends with a bigger , well-known youtuber (like Nice Peter) to give shoutouts that actually work!:) but that's just my thought :)

Yeah but its because they told those sub to go there. You will get views and subs for a couple days then you will go right back to how you were before[DOUBLEPOST=1369753612,1369753513][/DOUBLEPOST]

Becuase they will come to your channel because their youtuber told them to come not because they wanted to isnt a instinct thing. You will get more views and subs for a couple days but after a couple days you will go right back down and be left with dead subs. Better off finding people to network with a build fans not trying to have someone else fan base

This. They won't be (for the most part) legit subs. If you think that most people only have about 20% active subs, so gaining one or two from a little shoutout won't do anything to actually help your channel. People will do things because they are told, and later they will either ignore your stuff or unsubscribe for the most part.

Yeah i think its better to grind it out and actually network and collab with people. I saw a cool technique that a bigger youtuber used to shout another channel alot. The other channel had a promo video at the end of the persons video.

If there are dead subs that means they are by definition "DEAD" and will not check out his channel, only active subs will duh, so his method works just fine, shout outs are a good way to raise views by cross advertising channels
