I want to start a podcast and I need some tech help

Hi everyone, Kevin here. Me and my friend have talked about starting a podcast for some time. The plan is to record a Skype conversation, stream it on Twitch or something and then from there use the recording to upload to YouTube from Twitch. We tested this out a while ago, he hosted the call and stream as he has a better internet connection. The problem was that his audio was perfect but you could barely hear mine. If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it

I think the best way to do this podcast would probably be to do it all in person and then there would be no issues with differing qualities or levels

Me and my friend live quite a distance away so its not realistic to meet up in person once every week or so to do a podcast

There's obviously a setting with either your Mic or on his end, check them and make sure they're correct.
