I Want To Monetize, But Am Worried

As long as you're acting reasonably, I doubt that Google is going to get on your case for watching your own video five or six times or watching your own video and seeing an ad (although, I assume that you wouldn't get any watching your own video from your own account? I'm not 100% sure but that just seems like a precaution that Google would think to take).

I've never heard of anyone having to be extremely careful to make sure that Google doesn't take monetization privileges away. Just act reasonably, and you should be fine. If for some reason you happen to make exactly the wrong move and get monetization taken away due to a careless mistake, I'm sure it could be fixed up fairly quickly with an e-mail to the right people. Don't sweat it. Just monetize your videos and have a good time.
 
just make sure your family dont click on ads, they can probably do it once, but once they end up doing it a few times, it could put your account in danger. I know some people think they may be helping, but I had to inform my family not to click on my ads, incase they thought they could help in that way. you should have no problem seeing your own videos, every timy ou click a comment from the bell notification it takes you to your video that autoplays, it would be pretty stupid if google penalized you for that.
