I want 50 subs!!!

I started youtube in novembet pf 2013 and I'm still stuck at 33 subscribers. I offered a milestone video if I had hit 50 subs but nothing has happened. Is it Because of my content, or is it Because of advertisement?
 
It might just be that you're still very new. People subscribed but there aren't enough of enough view for people to be craving a video from you. It's good to keep plugging away and aiming for the 50 subscribers but you have to realize how much content is out there.
