Only roughly 1000 channels on all of YouTube are managed with MCNs so yea, your channel better be big :P

Yes it has just because it hasn't hit the majority of people doesn't mean it hasn't been implemented yet. I guess the best thing to say is that it hasn't been "fully" implemented yet.
