I think its coming to a end

Yeah, I'm gonna have to disagree with you there as well, Moses. The boom of gaming channels is burning hot right now. Just look at our Videos & Channels sub-forums - Auto & Vehicles, 152 threads (probably all @TheDutchTexan :P). Beauty & Makeup, 67. Comedy, 3,826. Education, 128. Entertainment, 1,736. Film & Animation, 762. Gaming, 22,889.

I think games will be still be around quite some time. And also the graphics and animations only started to become really really realistic and that's way i think people going to watch the newest sh**
and also some gaming channels are mostly a Vlog Channel cause they talk about rendom stuff but with the plus that they got a some sort of entertainment running "in the background"
i recently discovered the channel ReviewTechUSA and he basicly doing exactly that

I think the more appropriate question is how does a gaming channel breakthrough now? The market is more than oversaturated at the moment with every kid with minecraft, every person with a mic and camera to scream into playing Five Nights at Freddy's, everyone who thinks they've got the stuff turning out video after video with less than 20 views a piece.

Not saying it's impossible, but I can understand why you feel the demand might not be there. It's because there's too much of it, and standing out isn't easy.

idk Ive actually started following some gamers afew months back and they boomed, like crazy
but then the bigger ones seem to just be doing the usual and getting an ok amount of subscribers/views
BUT i noticed the little guys always put more effort in and listen to what the comments say
The bigger youtubers ive been watching seem to be doing the opposite

NO NO! Gaming channels can surpass any other kinds of channels now! How many games are there and how many people are watching them? LOTS AND LOTS! :)

So just found this article that should give you an idea of how well gaming is doing:

Minecraft remains the most popular game franchise on YouTube by some distance, with videos of Mojang’s crafting game notching up more than 3.9bn views in March 2015 alone.

That’s according to a chart produced by research firms Newzoo and Octoly, which have been tracking views of YouTube game videos.

Minecraft was well ahead of second-placed Grand Theft Auto, which spawned videos watched nearly 1.4bn times in March.

Mobile game Five Nights at Freddy’s took third place with 1.3bn views that month, beating high-profile console franchises Call of Duty (851m views) and FIFA (770m views).
