I don't even have a friend bar or friends. What do you mean with friend bar?

You could have it before, like a year ago or something. You had the opportunity to add people as friends, on youtube, and then u had a bar/window with them on your homepage.

Apparently it was just them deleting inacitve accounts but this sounds really weird.
