I seem to be gaining subscribers very quickly

Hey all,

So, I noticed today that I seem to be gaining subscribers quite quickly for someone that isn't very big. I've gained about 200 subs in the past 3 days, whereas previously, I was gaining about 10 a day.

Anyway, I've checked some of the subs and they all seem legit. Like, they have videos and they are subscribed to others who are related. I have been commenting a lot on others videos that play Minecraft, too. Nothing spammy - just commenting on the video, something funny or related. These usually get a few replies and +1's - I'm also using Reddit more, too.

Analytics isn't showing anything odd. The audience retention seems normal and there isn't an increase in mobile devices, maybe 1% - which seems pretty normal.

It just doesn't seem right. It seems they are coming in too quickly. Could it be someone botting me?

Maybe someone shared your video somewhere and people really liked it? If everything seems normal then it is probably legit. Have you received an increase in comments and likes/dislikes as well?
 
I know that the first sort of thing you think of is that you've been botted, but maybe you are just getting noticed! if everything seems normal then there's not really an issue, have any of your videos got a big hit count?
 
I've had 3 videos reach then 301+ verification thing and a video going over 700 hits. I've had a few more comments (not many) and quite a few more likes. About 10+ likes in total than usual across all videos. I've had 3 dislikes in the past 2 days too, I don't usually get that
 
Maybe. I've no idea. There is too many to check manually and not all of them are emailed through to me - I dunno. Just struck me as odd as it doesn't seem right!
 
I seem to have the opposite, I have a steady increase in views but not a similar increase in subscribers. Anyone know what the reason for this could be? (other than my videos being crappy?) ha
 
Go to analytic and check the traffic sources. Maybe they are all coming from the same place

anyway, congrats! That's awesome! they seem legit!
