Hi guys!

Does anyone know a good tutorial for processing a mediocre quality voiceovers recorded with a regular headset?
How to make them sound better but not unnatural and robotic and the same time?

I'm looking for tutorials for Audacity or Adobe Audition.

There are many tutorials on YouTube. I would say if u r recording ur voice, record near to ur mic, it will sound much clear and better.
U can even remove noise using noise removal tool in both softwares. :)

I'm using a headset so the mic is always near :)
I don't have problems with removing background noise, I just need to make my voice smoother, if that makes any sense :P

Hmm... I do have one question for you. How do you want your voice to be smoother? Like is it pitch, shakiness, squeaks, high and low sounds, etc?

Audacity is really simple, depending on what you edit with all you need to do is export the audio from audacity and then you can change it with the editing software.

To be honest; that's probably the best you'll get from a headset. If you want better, smoother quality; you need to buy a better microphone.

Check the signature video below, that's just a $130 microphone and Equalization & Normalization in Audacity.

Audacity is great but really the quality depends on the microphone
I know for gamers its generally much smoother and nice to listen to if they are using a stand alone microphone
You could go for a blue snowball Those are cheap and good but they don't record to loud, Which can be fixed in audacity with three clicks

It sounds very good. Could You please share Your Audacity settings for EQ and Normalization?

Literally the default settings for both; no change needed on my part.

I do have a fairly "wide" voice, and due to three years of performances my vocal projection and control is quite good. Just muck around with them until it sounds right.
