I Really Need Help Long Explanation

So basically I'm starting to record Gameplay walkthroughs (I know how original) but I always run into the problem where I record for an hour or 2 and for some reason I just don't want to play the game until I get everything from that recording session uploaded to youtube, so what I'm wondering is if anyone has had this issue before or if anyone can tell me some more efficient ways of recording, Idk.

I don't even know what kind 0f help I'm looking for its just something thats been bugging me and it has caused me to not finish walkthroughs in the past , PLEASE PLEASE SHARE ANYTHING YOU THINK WILL HELP BECAUSE ITS HONESTLY BUGGING ME SOOO MUCH.
 
I don't see a problem here, play 1-2h of games, then edit and upload a video, sounds pretty normal. I do not play really long myself, rarely reaching 2h constant gaming. I think you just lack determination on game finishing itself. I doubt there is a solution to this, if you can't finish a game it means you just do not dig into it, should focus on some genre you like the most. Hard to tell bro, but good luck!

Thanks for the reply dude, and I don't have a problem with game finishing i think its just I'm so used to recording editing and upload the video in one day and then starting to record immediately after. Like I dont want to record a video and upload it like a couple days later because I'd feel like I'm just behind on things idk can't really explain it, hopefully you get what im trying to say[DOUBLEPOST=1409407128,1409407029][/DOUBLEPOST]I guess my question is do Lets Players record a whole session then schedule the uploading s for every couple of days or something?
 
I can relate to what you're dealing with, when I took a break from Youtube I use to play 6-8 hours a day but now I just play for 1-2 hours and then edit my videos.
 
Yes someone that can relate lol, I'm just trying to think if i should just like have the whole thing pre recorded or something
 
Yeah, Record for 2 hrs and then edit and break the 2 hrs video into shorter durations! Many people do this! :)
 
I find its good to plan your videos for release a head of time say like 1-2weeks that way if you're a few days behind say not recording or editing you can still have the safety of knowing you have videos ready to go.. That's my thoughts anyway
