I need some advice for making content with the ps4

Hello everyone, Kevin here. I do gaming content on my channel. Up until now I've been doing the commentaries using the Sharefactory feature on the PS4. However the commentary side of Sharefactory is very clunky and doesn't allow for good editing. Is there a way I could just edit the video in Sharefactory and the audio in Audacity or something? I've tried doing this before but I haven't been able to find any good, free programmes that would allow me to layer the video with the audio. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
 
Using the onconsole sharing function is always the least flexible way of obtaining footage. Try using a capture card instead?

How more specific do you want me to be? Upload your video from your PS4 to YouTube, then in your Video Manager download the MP4, and edit it on your PC. Now I cannot get more specific than that.
 
Ok, firstly thanks for the advice Pentra (bitchy as it was ha jk) but the ps4 isn't yet capable of uploading directly to YouTube. How I make my videos is I edit them on the ps4, export them to a thumb drive and from there I upload them onto YouTube via my pc. Ok so now I have my video from the ps4 and the audio from audacity on my pc, how can I sync them up? What programes do I need? Will the YouTube video editing capabilities be sufficient?

Sorry I don't even own a PS4, but I heard someone say that you can upload your video to Facebook, and you can download the video from Facebook,then you edit the video and upload it to YouTube :) Hope it works, and Good luck ;D
