I need HONEST feedback (will return the favor)

Hello everyone, i just started my youtube channel, allthough this has been in the works for months, I have finally decided to make it live!
I have a terrible flaw of being overly harsh on my self produced content so its hard for me to give myself reliable feedback. I was hoping someone in the community could give me feedback on my first video, channel art and profile picture too if you want, but its not necessary. If someone wants to give me some feedback I can return the favor and give you my feedback involving your channel.
(this is a gaming channel if anyone was curious)

Hei!

First of all props for starting off with a 2D survival horror game - done a few myself and those tend to be some strange games more often than not :) Checked it out and i found it was pretty ok considering it was your first video. The audio was a bit as if you were distant from the microphone.The ending was too sudden and i am sure you will get into some more editing (intro and outro) as time goes by.

So to sum it up constructively:
* reduce echo effect for microphone
* intro/outro

I hope this was useful frrdback. About the channel graphics - they will get better as you get ideas on how to make it slicker and cleaner and find the style you want to go for.

Hey thanks for the feedback, Im aware of the audio problem, all of us sharing 1 mic is kind of rough but I appreciate you mentioning it. Like you said I'm not super familiar with video editing, I have some ideas for intros/outros but I just really wanted to get some content out before I put it off any longer. For outros would you suggest like a fading out to make it less sudden or what were you thinking?

Getting content out is a good idea. I guess fading in and out would be a nice touch for the next video for example (I usually fade both the audio and video) - the fade out guarantees the viewer that he/she will not be as surprised (negatively) by it ending as just cutting the video at a certain point. The same goes for fading in - make it a smoother experience. Might not work for all kinds of videos but i find it works for gaming videos. To look further i was actually proposing some small outro after the video itself. I believe mine are overdone (movie credits style) but i find a few second clip would not hurt cultivating the channel image to the viewers.

PS: Saw you had outro mentioned in your plans as well so yeah, go for it! :)

I checked out your channel and I must say the quality is much better then most people who get started. As many have said audio quality could be improved but still isn't bad for a channel getting started. To make your channel look better, switch to browse view. ( to do this hover over the pen in the corner of your channel (see image attached to this post) and enable browse view) This enables you to have an automatic playing trailer when someone clicks on your channel[DOUBLEPOST=1433967585,1433967516][/DOUBLEPOST]

Thanks I wasn't sure how to do that, however I thought I would probably wait till I had more videos till made a trailer. I could cut highlights into the trailer. Is this a bad idea? Or should I make a trailer now?
