I Need Help With Youtube Notifications

I need help understanding the notifications and the ones I can turn on and off. Am I somehow able to be notified when someone shares a video? I know that I am able to be sent notifications when someone comments, when someone uploads, and finally when someone subscribes. but are those the only three things?

The main reason I'm here is to figure out if there is a way I can be notified once someone shares one of my videos, but expanding my knowledge in notifications in general would be nice!

When it comes to being notified of someone sharing your video i believe that is only if it's shared through Google+ correct me if I'm wrong. I know for a fact you can get notified of people sharing your videos I just don't see it happen when it's for other social medias such as Twitter or Facebook.

I'm pretty sure you're right. I wish YouTube would make a notification for every website users are allowed to share to, or just notify the owner when their video is shared in general. that'd be helpful with the situation I'm in lol. Thank you!!!

That would be a lot of work for people with a mass amount of subscribers, and people that share their videos.

Well obviously they should make it able to be turned off, they should probably start it turned off and let users themselves turn it on

I don't see how it's a necessity, honestly.
