I need a second opinion!

Hey there guys, I need to ask you all for your thoughts regarding this one idea I had, but that I'm not too sure of implementing on my channel.

Basically, I was thinking of adding a Let's Play series to my channel, but it's a "spliced" let's play where I just cut out the bits where nothing happens, and leave in the bits where funny things happen.

But I'm not too sure if this has already been done before, or what I can do to make the idea original/with a spin. I'm essentially aiming to make a gateway video as suggested by one of the articles in the Strategies and Technique Advice sub-forum.

Do you guys have any ideas on how I can potentially improve upon this idea? I might make a test video on this soon.

That has been done before if that's what you're asking.

As far as what to do to improve on that idea, just add in whatever you want. Nothing is really original anymore so it will be hard to come up with something that no one has done. You just have to make up things that you can and are willing to do and throw it into the mix.

Pewdiepie does that on majority of his Let's Play Series, he especially does it when the series he is playing has been play before cause he knows most people already know the storyline.
