HQ is 720p as opposed to HD which is 1080p. I'm not sure why your quality would drop unless maybe there was something in your settings for the project. I am not familiar with Camtasia, but generally with any editing software, you have the ability to create settings prior to editing. the title pretty much sums it up. I am used to camtasia, but it has decided to take a s**t on me recently and i need something new.
i agree thats what i use and also if you have a make check adobe after effects and premierI am on a Mac so i use Final Cut X. It is a little pricey but worth it.
Sony Vegas 11 pro FTW!!! That program is to me like the best evah!! Rlly advanced and editing vids goes like charm ^_^
