Request I need a logo and intro for my channel

Our best advice would be to find good references and inspiration. Look at logos that you like, and ones that you don't to create something unique to your personal taste. You can't go wrong!
 
Also, if you feel like you'll be doing graphics for a while, you can get Photoshop at a student discount while you're in school. It's a great investment to take advantage of while you can.

That is actually pretty cheap. I charge $75 for a logo, and depending on the intro, anywhere from $50-$150. The thing people forget is how much the software costs, how much time it takes to master the software, and how much time it can take to create these graphics. Not to mention revisions, corrections, changes...all of which will happen on pretty much 99% of designs you do for someone.

You can use free programs, but you won't get the quality you may be looking for with a professional design. If that's not a big deal to you, then there are many free places online to create a free design. They tend to look somewhat generic though to be honest.

Every now and then I will do a freebie for someone, but there is no way I can do that all the time and still pay my bills.

Anyway, just my 2 cents. ;)
 
See asking for an avatar would be a lot cheaper to professionals but asking for a LOGO and also asking them to come up with the idea themselves is going to cost a lot! My Mom paid around £80 for her company logo and I could remake it on photoshop in like 5 minutes... but hey these companies know what they're doing :D

I wouldnt mind trying to make an avatar or banner for your channel but I dont work off dust. You would have to supply the images or links to the images that I would use and give me instructions on what you want.
