I need a free, very basic, and easy software to make an intro!

yeah I would go with Videopad I use it in my videos & I LOVE IT it can do all of things like it can render in 1080p, it very easy to use, and the videos are normally pretty smalls so it saves hard drive space
 
You could try Movie Edit Pro by MAGIX. Depending on how long your intro is you could even use the trial version
 
Try Blender, it's a free 3d animator. It's a bit hard at first, but once you know the basics, you can make a pretty good intro.
 
Honestly, I would suggest a more hands on approach, aka stop motion. This way you can customise it the way you want without learning much about different programs.
