I need a bit of help choosing a new microphone

I have been using my HyperX cloud headset mic lately and I like it but it is starting to mess up.

I am either going with the MXL Tempo or the Blue Snowball. I think they sound similar but I think I like the look and sound of the Tempo a bit more. So it would help me if I had a bit more input into which one I should get.

MXL Tempo $75-$80
Blue Snowball $60-$70

If you don't know what they sound like then i would recomend looking up Podcastage's reviews on them

I prefer the yeti myself, but no matter what you get, noise removal is a must. Learn how to do that and you'll be fine.
 
I use a snowball in my videos (sounds best in my solo vids, such as my recent "SO MUCH TRUCK"), and edit out the little bit of background noise (my PC) in Audacity.
It sounds great to me (but then again, I've never heard myself from anything better :P)
I would definitely recommend it for the price range. Good quality, different settings (Normal, Less Sensitive, Omnidirectional), and very easy to use (plug and play USB).
Mounts to any standard mic stand as well, I have it on a standard standup mount, and it works great, along with a pop filter.
 
I know many people that have used the Blue Snowball and have heard nothing but good things about it. Even considering getting one myself
 
I use the snowball plus normalization and noise removal in Audacity. My experience is that you need to get it really close to your mouth like 10 cm/4" to get the best sound. As you seem to make gaming videos you may rather want to use a headset or to get a stand that allows you to have it really close.
