I Miss the 2011 Layout :(

I was just looking through the waybackmachine, seeing how things were back then. It struck me how much better YouTube was back then, allowing you to get more views on your videos, faster subscriber growth, and the wonderful old layout. I just wanted to discuss over it. Does anyone else miss the old way you can set up your channel? You were also able to see your channel's page views, your achievements, and the channel comments were so much better. I hope YouTube at least gives some people an option to use the old layout, it was just the best one in my opinion.

I never used it (only really started a year or so ago) so I actually have no problems with the current layout, I guess it's a matter of I don't know what I'm missing though...
 
There's no reason why there can't be a *good* YouTube update in the future, so I hold out hope.
 
I don't miss it at all. It is much more functional now. Sure, G+ can be wonky at times but as a whole, the website is fantastic now. So many tools, so many options and best of all, it is still free.
 
I miss this one, it was so beautiful.

I wish that they would bring back channel views. I remember obsessing with those numbers when I started in 2011 :D
 
Yeah, the channel layout was good back then, but their were some unnecessary things. For example, remember the friends list? It literally didn't help you in any way. And the channel background, oh my god. I'm gonna say this right now, I prefer the banner we have now to the background we had before. Some people had their background transparent so much that you couldn't read anything on their channel, it was so annoying. -_-
