"I love your videos, channel pls subscribe"Comments are ANNOYING

I have not gotten anyone asking me to subscribe in the comments, iv had some people try to promote there similar video's in my comments before but never people asking for subscribers.

Yeah, I have quite an extensive list of blocked words and find it super handy! Other good things to write in there are swear words that you don't want in the comments, and sensitive info like your phone number. :o
 
I manually kill comments like that most of the time, with the exception of people who are already active on my channel who might pop up and say that they produce similar content and would I take a look. That happened today, I just subbed to a new channel that is really good in my niche. I don't go around subbing just to support people, I have to want to watch their content and this one, I do.
 
Agreed. I want people to subscribe to my channel because they like my content, and enjoy my personality. I don't engage in sub-4-sub, as all you'll really get are a ton of "dead" subscribers, aka people who won't ever actually watch your content.
 
I don't get these comments often, but the worst one I got...
It's a man with a disability who makes videos on his disability. He subbed to me and asked me to sub to him. He had over 6k subscribers but his videos barely break the two digit view mark.
Talk about being put in an awkward situation...
