I Just Got 200 FAKE Subscribers

I think those were BOT subs. It had never happened to me, but I am glad that your YOUTUBE channel is safe now with more subs. I know the feeling of getting too many subs suddenly :)

YouTube is really good at sensing the issue and fixing the problem fairly quickly especially when it comes to hackers. They recently been cracking down on fake views and subs and determining where it the problems are coming from. I have had fake subscribers before, at most maybe 5 but congrats on getting to 400!
 
I have a video up at the moment (from a while ago though, It's called The Book Of Answers) that got hacked,
Youtube seems to be able to detect fraudulent subs and views, but not likes? Since that video was hacked and given 800+ views and 300+ likes, the views went back down to about 80 (at the time) but the likes are still at 300 and something.... I don't get why, I have reported it too, but it hasn't been changed.. Plus, I don't want people who come on to my channel to look at that video and think I did it myself...

It sucks that you were hacked to be given those subs, I think it's dumb and unhelpful when people do that.. even though I'm sure they think they're being nice!
 
that sounds really strange but I had the same thing kinda I jumped from 657 to 715 in one day and I'm like whattt maybe i gain like 2 or 3 a day but never 80 or more like that. I hope it doesnt go down ill be so sad. It made me think if it was a glitch on youtube's part and it finally caught up to the real number either way I was like whoa!

Thank you all on your input, and giving me your stories, it has really helped me! :) Youtube fixed it, and now its going down slowly going down, its currently at 247 when i had 209 before. :D
 
It's not as big a stretch as you might think if you get a shootout by one of the greats! I gained a few hundred in a few days because of a shoutout once. Normally I gain a few and loose a few every day.
