i have no clue why, but i havent put up any videos at all as of late because i just haven't felt like recording, and i have already lost 4 subs because of it, anyone else have this issue? if so do you have any motivational tips?

I hate lazy hiatus mode. Typically to solve this I prerecord some videos in advance.
What I recommend is you make an update video asking your subscribers to understand, not just keep quiet about the lack of uploads. :D

I often avoid this issue by recording a sh*t ton of videos in advance since monday is my personal upload day now I will simply take an old vid watch it and then stick it online. Has worked for the past few months :)

Worst part is having to remember all the details and type them up.

I do the same thing from time to time. I usually just get inspired and record again. Sometimes I'll watch inspirational videos or just chillax and watch some of my hilarious subscriptions and get inspired by them! And do what the people before me said! stockpile your videos and record when you can!

im probably going to make an update video, i actually already planned on it, and i think the other reason is that all of my other recording partners have been too busy to do stuff, so i havent been able to come up with ideas :P thanks for the help![DOUBLEPOST=1392172588,1392172479][/DOUBLEPOST]

yah i have been trying to look up some funny things to try and get to the point i was at (at least a video a week but usually more than that) so im just gonna try and watch the gamers that i look up to!

I didn't feel like it for a long time. I put up absolute s**t on and off for about 14 months, mainly because I wanted approval or felt an obligation to do it instead of actually wanting to. Just wait til you feel like it, so the quality of the videos isn't a**.

Yeah, pre-recording is the way to go. Alternatively, if your format is the problem, switch it up and think of something new and creative. I find that if I get bored it's because I've tried to do the same thing for too long. Often switching onto something completely different can re-fire your mojo!

I get like that some times too! Sometimes I will be pushing hard working nonstop hours pushing out youtube videos everyday. Other times I just don't know what to put out. I get like writers block. Sometimes I am just tired and or/ in a bad mood and it's hard to make videos when your in a bad mood or extremely tired (like right now I should be in bed). I think I will take some people's advice on here and I will stockpile some videos for those days when I need to put a video out and I have nothing!

I definitely don't think you should make an apologize to your fans video for not posting. I HATE watching a video for the 1st time and the 1st 2 minutes is an apology of why they haven't been posting. "my dog eat my computer and..." lol When I first started youtube that was something I wrote down that I would not ever do!

Just take a break and try and refresh your mind. Think of some new video ideas and come back with lots of new content! :)
