I have a editing question

So I want to learn how to record gameplay and record my reaction/commentary on it at the same time and have it on one video. How do you do that/ I have been trying for the past week and I am stuck. Also, I currently use Power Director. Any help would be much appreciated. I want the screen to look like Ali A's for example.

If you use OSB you can do it in a stream. In order to cut it together for a video I dont know how to do it with Power Director. I use Davinci resolve 12 and in that you would just have the game play as video 1 and your cam as video 2. You would transform video 2 down to whatever size you want your face cam to be. If you were to look up how to picture in picture you would probably find a tutorial for your program.

I tried doing that method but it wouldn't let me do that. I was hoping to do like cam 1 for game play and my webcam for number 2.

I just started using OSB and i had it streaming my desktop and my cam. It was a test run just to see what I could do. I just recently started doing live streams so I was just playing with it. In the area you set up your scene you can select desktop in there. I am sorry I cant be more help.
