I have a Copycat

About a month after I started my YouTube channel, someone who I used to be friends with started a YouTube channel. I make my videos about Pokémon. I will give him that he doesn't only upload Pokémon videos, but that is a big part of his channel. I was recruited by Lethal Legacy Network (a subnetwork of Freedom), he joined Lethal Legacy a few weeks later using my link (that's actually not bad because I get part of his revenue share, but still it's direct copy). I used to be a part of a community channel, and a few months after I joined, he joined. This next one is the worst. When I hit 500 subscribers, I did a Q&A video. When he "got 500 subscribers" (I say that because I am almost sure he does sub4sub), he did a Q&A with the exact same format. Mine had a google docs form, his had a google docs form. Mine was recorded on camera, his was recorded on camera. Mine showed the question (not read out lout) then I answered the question, his was exactly the same. I seriously think he is just stealing what I am doing and claiming it to be his own idea. I am almost sure he does sub4sub because I have looked through almost all of his videos from the past few weeks, and only has 2 videos over 50 views, none of them have any comments, and they all have, at most, 4 likes. This makes me almost sure it is some sort of sub4sub. I really don't like it when people just use what I do and act like it's theirs. What would you do in this situation?
 
You can't do much... after all he's not steeling your videos, he can join whatever he wants and not harassing you by commenting on you channel and stuff. He's basically doing another version of what you do; Which isn't a crime in the YouTube world as such.

I doubt if it would even come close to impersonation.
 
You just block him and forget him............try to do things that you like...theres a million people copying Pwediepie right now.....But nobodyy really cares about them........:D:D:D

When u get famous....people will start realizing about him...and they will kick him out............

KNOW THIS....Doing Sub4sub will not favor him at all
 
Don't worry too much about it! Everyone copies others in every way in this world! Look at music, look at the same moves that keep coming out, etc. Just focus on yourself and know what type of people are good friends to you and ignore those that are not.
 
Its not really that type of "Copy" material. Tons of people do question and answers in many different ways.
Now some pranks i've done, people have copied. And I was the first to do some of my ideas, so thats clearly copying. But for this scenario, I dont think its bad, just maybe annoying for you.
 
Listen... what is the biggest Pokemon channel? Ok... You just copied his idea and format.

Just leave it be. He is clearly failing at it. And if he wasn't you'd have to look at your own content and make it better. It's what youtube is all about. Original ideas are far and few nowadays. Just roll with it.
 
It depends on if you want it to stop, want revenge, etc. etc...

If you wanna just make it stop, do one of two things:
1) Confront him in a way he cannot escape (preferably record it)
2) As someone else said, block and forget.

If you want revenge, do something he can't do. I dunno how you can do so with Pokemon.

If it REALLY bugs you a TON, report him to YouTube. You can use the fact he's copying everything you're doing exactly the same, you can claim plagiarism. Not to mention it can be illegal (what he's doing) as it can be counted as stalking (BUT, it depends on where you live, and what the laws are!)
