I hate my video editing program,can someone suggest me a new one?

I always suggest Cyberlink Powerdirector to people who are current students, they have a nice student discount. I really like the program too, but the student discount is what made me pick it instead of Premiere.

I found Vegas is a nice stepping stone from windows movie maker. They have a variety of video editing software levels.

The Movie Studio versions are really nice as it isn't to foreign from movie maker but you have alot more features and things to play with. Depending on how much of a learning curve you want to take on the next step up from there would be premiere pro or sony vegas Pro.

I use Premiere Pro in my opinion is the best editor on the market. However it will take some time to learn and can be overkill for what you want to be doing, it isn't for everybody

Whats wrong with movie maker

Movie Maker is too limited. It can't layer clips, images or audio.

Personally, I use Adobe Premiere Pro.

I would have to say if you have the time to learn a new editing program I would suggest Adobe Premier Pro CS6. It's very good and provides a lot of futures to make videos of high quality but it's really a personal preference when it comes to choosing a editing program.
