Undiscovered....
I actually quite like the editing phase - more then the recording raw footage phase to be honest!
Agree 100% with this.
I used to use Final Cut Pro X pretty well and was getting along with it fine. Then I starting using the odd shortcut key on the keyboard for the blade etc - even though its just a single mouse click anyway, it makes a HUGE difference! Its just so much more convenient, the editing process flows so much better, and it really speeds things up!
I keep meaning to pick up a keyboard skin for my MacBook with all the shortcuts on it - so rather then the skin having normal letters on, which you dont need when editingmost of the time, it is colour coded andhas the shortcuts on it. Great for getting to know and learn them all. After a while its like second nature!
I personally would just get a better editing software as movie maker just doesn't cut it and really is lacking in functions, I'm not sure which ones are cheap because I've worked using the professional softwares for around 4 years now. But, if you can, I would find a software that has a keyboard shortcut for EVERYTHING and I mean everything since I've learn't the shortcuts for all the tools I use on a day to day basis in Premiere Pro I've sped up my editing time around 50% just because the only time I need to really move the cursor is when I want to drag clips on or change the order of them.
