I get subs but not the views?

Check using the new youtube analytics options which lets you see breakdown of where the subscribers are coming from (which videos are your top gainers)

If you have a video or two which drives a lot of subs yet your other content is not very similar to it, this could be the cause.

In the past 30 days, 102 people subscribed on my channel page, and the max from a video is 2 :S

I get lots of views ( well I think so for my channel size anyway) but very few subscribers,

Here is what I think, lots of people like your videos ( they are great) and subscribe, then never get around to watching another for whatever reason i.e they are subbed to lots of channels or don't get much time to watch videos,

why have your views been going down while your subs go up? again could be for any number of reasons, I mean your recent videos are about all different things and It may attract different sections of your subscriber base perhaps most of your subs are active, but don't watch all your videos?

your video on a topical issue ( the national anthem one) did better than your other recent videos, perhaps that shows what is more popular ( of course its your channel so just make what you want to make regardless of popularity)

and final thing maybe the bitter from earlier is still there or was there for a while giving you subs even after the views stopped.

Hope you can get past this and keep making great videos ( stay awesome :) )

*I am not being rude*
I think you are liked a lot on the forums
so people sub to you for showing appreciation and they are lazy to watch the videos
Could be this... Not that your videos aren't good, Kevin!!

I watch all of them personally, but the only other reasons would maybe be that your feed is not showing up in sub boxes or people are subscribing after watching a very specific video and that's what they are interested in--not your other videos. Also...

Waffles. That is all.

Hmm that's a good point.[DOUBLEPOST=1374356957,1374356860][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah I have a feeling that YTtalk has something to do with it haha.

& Since I uploaded my mtv cribs video, I gained 10 subs on thursday, and 12 on Friday. Hell, I might as well just make videos of Waffles xD

I'm not sure what is really causing it. I have the same problem as well, especially my more recent covers. Maybe spreading your videos outside of YouTube (other blogs, sites, forums, etc.) might help or you could probably change your content up a little bit. For me, I plan on adding slightly different content in my channel but still related to music.

Look at smosh for example. They barely get 10, 000, 000 on a video. Or for example PewDiePie, he has 10, 000, 000 subscribers just like smosh yet he only gets about 1, 000, 000 views on a video. Loads of subscribers arw subscribed to a lot of people or sometimes videos dont show up in sub boxes.

You see I have the opposite issue, I have always have reasonably decent views for my own standard I have set out. My personal goal is 100 a day but I have been shooting well over that for nearly two months now. But subs? Damn I gain like 1 every 3 days and it makes no sense to me apart from the fact that I don't commentate so they don't see the personality to subscribe to.

Okay I guess I know why the subs are low in my case.

But I would kill to gain subs the way you do :P

yeah maybe some of your subs arent as active as they usually are lately because gaining subs but not getting more views doesnt make sense unless youre getting botted or something

As you grow even bigger, the changes are dramatic.
I'm using Pewdiepie as an example, he has over 10 million subscribers, yet each video for the past 2 to 3 weeks have either been below 2 million views and some below 3 million. Massive difference. o:

Yeah I thought about that, just didn't think it would affect me as much only being at 600 lol.
