I've Got It
Hey guys.
Whenever I create a video, or I'm planning a script for my next upcoming video I always feel insecure that people behind my back are calling me 'faggot' and all that.
I'm always afraid of what people think about me because of my videos. Whenever I come up with an Idea, I always disregard it because I'm scared people would judge me for it.
I know I'll eventually get over it when I start making more videos, but right now I'm afraid of the judgement from other people.
Anyway, have any of you guys ever felt this way? How did you overcome it?
 
I think you should create a set of basic ethical rules which you should follow in your movies. It could be something really simple like - do not lye (don't give misleading information), do not scam/ do not pray on inexperienced young YouTube viewers and stuff like this. This must be your No Go zone. As far as you do not cross this boundary - you are safe - it is all artistic/creativity performance and there is nothing to be afraid of! You could be criticized for many things like for failing to perform well enough, for not having good ideas for skits and so on and this is something you can work on and improve but nobody can criticize you that you are low life form or something similar!
So be brave and let your creativity fly! :)
 
I always think that people do the same to me, but most of the time I get more positive feedback than negative, I just try to focus on the positive ones.
 
Yeah, I had more positive than negative on my first video, and I hope it continues like that for all my upcoming videos..

I'm sorry you feel so insecure Vindolla.

I'm not sure how old you are, but as you mature you learn that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, as long as you are doing what makes you happy (and not hurting anyone in the process of course!)

Just go ahead and make whatever you want to make, you had the courage and determination to film, create and post that video. That's something a lot of the people that may judge you, don't have. Even if you think your video looks weird or you sound weird in it, doesn't matter. These are your creations, something you've made and put out into the world for all to see :P they may not be perfect but they're YOURS be proud!
 
You have to remember that everyone has their own cup of tea.

You cannot make everyone in the world like you.

When someone gives you a complement, appreciate it and be proud of it. If you make the value of the complement higher than a negative then you will eventually don't care about the negatives.

Remember. We are not all perfect and we cannot be perfect and please everyone in the world.
 
It gets better :) Just upload content you wanna upload and the people who like it will stick around, trust me, anyone who likes you will watch anything as long as they're not offended by it :D

I feel a lot better, and I will push away all the negative people in my life and focus on those who support me! :)
